Our practice nurse will see you for a range of procedures which include the following:Wound dressings Smears Travel vaccinations Injections Blood pressure checks Health screening Childhood immunisations Health Visitors and District Nurse Teams
The health visitors and district nurses are based at the Health Centre, Waltham Abbey.The health visitors provide specialist advice and run several support groups. The district nurses provide nursing care to patients who are housebound. Patients will be referred by their GP and if necessary on discharge from hospital.
