How Do I... Make An Appointment?
You can book an appointment up to four weeks in advance. If you do not have an appointment and wish to be seen on the day, we will try our best to give you an appointment. If you cannot keep your appointment or wish to cancel, please let us know in advance so that the appointment can be used for another patient. If you wish to speak to a doctor or nurse please telephone the surgery and the receptionist will take the details. The doctor or nurse will return your call at the end of the surgery. Calls cannot be put through during surgery.
How Do I... Obtain A Home Visit?
If you feel that you require a home visit, please call the surgery before 10.00am and give the details to the receptionist. The doctor will be informed and may telephone you to discuss your request.
How Do I... Obtain Test Results?
These do not necessarily require a doctor's appointment. You can obtain your results by telephoning the surgery after 2.30pm. If your doctor needs to see you about the results we will contact you.
How Do I... Obtain A Sickness Certificate?
A sickness certificate is required if you are absent from work due to illness for seven days or longer. For up to three days no certificate is required and an absence from three to seven days is covered by a 'self certificate' which is available from your employer. |
